With this intermediate level definition you can generate a octagonal panel tessellation on any given (untrimmed) single or doubly curved surface from Rhino or GH
The process starts by a regular rectangular division of the provided surface domain which then leads to the introduction of additional point on the edges of the quadrilaterals. The new points are then weaved together to form an octagon.
This definition was written in GH v 0.9.0076. Please use it “as is”, it does not come with warranties.
